What is super 8?

Super 8 is a motion picture film produced in 1965 and still made today by Kodak. It was primarily used by families capturing vacations and holidays.

Documenting with Super 8 today creates a grainy, joyful, nostalgic memory rather than a high-definition quality that you get with digital coverage. It typically attracts the artistic couple who might be wanting something “different”.

I use this form to capture moments on couples wedding day to envoke nostalgia and offer a unique way to look back on their wedding day memories.

All footage is captured on vintage cameras with real kodak film. It is then edited in a modern program to include titles, music, sequencing, and color correction. made with lots of love.
